Asian property portal group, IPGA, has appointed Shaun Di Gregorio as its new CEO.
Di Gregorio joins IPGA from REA Group - the Australian-based company responsible for brands such as RealEstate.com.au and Italian portal Casa.it - where he most recently served as GM of its international businesses.
"I believe the business has tremendous growth potential across its core Malaysian, Hong Kong and Singaporean markets," Di Gregorio was quoted as saying. "I look forward to working with the team and utilising my experience in rapid growth markets to help drive the long term growth of the IPGA business."
Di Gregorio is the second key ex-REA executive to take in interest in IPGA in the past year. In April 2009, former REA CEO Simon Baker took a seat on the company's board and bought a swathe of its shares through his holdings in Classified Ad Ventures.
IPGA, which owns the iProperty brand, has interests in five Asian markets including the Philippines and India and is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
