26 August 2009 – The iProperty.com Malaysia (www.iproperty.com.my) , Malaysia’s No. 1 property website with the largest online database of properties for sale and rent in the country, and part of Asia’s group of leading property portals iProeprty.com Group owned by IPGA Limited (ASX:IPP), has unveiled its newly revamped Malaysian property portal.
Designed to meet the evolving needs of property hunters and our developer and real estate agent clients, the property portal has enhanced its services and introduced innovative features that are set to increase the number and quality of leads to our clients.
Improved Interface
The website has been refreshed with a contemporary look, wider interface and friendlier navigation. Not only does the new website look better, it is also more user-friendly with an advanced search engine that allows property hunters to search within a chosen city or township, helping them to locate their desired property quickly and easily. The property search process has also been enhanced with property searches returning more relevant results and property listings showing more information and larger pictures.
Properties can also now be found and viewed directly from iProperty.com’s Google Maps interface from the ‘Search by Map’ function (www.iproperty.com.my/searchbymap/default.aspx). A cool ‘Send to GPS’ feature sends selected properties to a GPS, helping out-of-town property hunters find their way.
New Features
A noteworthy addition to the iProperty.com website is the Condo Directory (www.iproperty.com.my/condominiums), a first-of-its-kind collaborative wiki-style library comprising of over 1,500 condominiums in major cities around Malaysia to date. User submitted reviews, pictures, videos and maps help property hunters get an unbiased view of a condominium they may be interested in.
‘Search by Hot Area’ (www.iproperty.com.my/property/featuredByStateWriteUpList.aspx) lets users search for their dream home already categorised by Malaysia’s most popular property locations. ‘New Properties’ (www.iproperty.com.my/developments/) has been added to the website to help users get the latest updates of all the new developments and launches in Malaysia whilst ‘Overseas Properties’ (www.iproperty.com.my/international/section) showcases international properties available for rent and sale.
Subscribers to iProperty.com also stand to gain from the revamp. Members can now shortlist and send out enquiries to all their favourite properties with just a click. Accessible anywhere on the site, this handy ‘My Shortlist’ function pops up on demand.
New Content
Our updated ‘Property Resources and Guides’ section (www.iproperty.com.my/resources/) provides an abundance of property information that helps visitors through different aspects of the home buying and selling processes with a function for readers to contribute with their comments. This extensive library of resources and articles are sourced from contributors and past issues of the iProperty.com Malaysia Magazine.
iProperty.com’s Loans & Financing section (www.iproperty.com.my/financing/) offers visitors indispensable financing tools such as loan calculators, refinance, mortgage rates and other resources that caters to both inexperienced and veteran property buyers/sellers.
New Advertisers’ Interface
A new advertiser’s management interface, iRealtor, was also developed in conjunction with the consumer-facing revamp. Advertisers will now enjoy an improved platform to advertise their listings with tools to help them generate more leads for themselves and their business.
Executive Chairman of the iProperty.com Group, Patrick Grove, says: “The website’s fresh design is geared towards making the property search process as simple and as quick as possible with an emphasis on improving user experience.”
The iProperty.com Malaysia website revamp was officiated by the Minister of Housing and Local Government Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha at the iProperty.com EXPO “Luxury Collection” at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 24 July 2009. The website is the second in a series of revamps planned for the iProperty.com Group’s network of regional websites. April 2009 saw the first iProperty.com website re-launch in Singapore (www.iproperty.com.sg).
